The Bling race series is ending at PORC as the organiser (good guy) has fallen out with the owner (bad guy) who has threaten to sell the land and apparently has now.

Hello every one, as you may or may not know, as it no secret that I do not get on with Mike the owner of PORC and it came to a head on Sunday after the race, from the start of running the race series Mike for some reason has stopped me growing the event to where it should be, as well as driving people away from PORC by telling every one he is selling the place and the lack of maintenance of the bike park why? only he knows. March 18 and April 22 will be the last 2 rounds of Mr Bling's Race Series at PORC , unless I can work something out with the new owners .who I'm told are coming in March, but as they say (I heard it all before ).One thing I know, I do not want to work with MIKE . Mr Bling .

Saw this yesterday morning on his Facebook.

I think its quite sad but hope he keeps going. If the owner does sell the land I wonder when he will as the 2nd round of the National 4x Series is there on the 29th April and as far as i know that is still going ahead!!!

Mikes been saying he'll sell the land since he got given it. Every year. So Ill believe it when I see it.

Be a shame to see it go as its proper iconic on the UK mtb scene. But in all honesty, I dont really care. Its been going downhill for years and Mike has pushed anyone who has helped him away.
Potentially, it could be the best place in the UK. The land is there, and the eleveation. All held back by the biggest stoner ever. Anyone ever see the fairy hut he had made? I mean really!!!

I just hope that the people who dig there go on to bigger and better things, where their talent isnt wasted.

They had a big row after Sundays race, so no surprise the series is coming to an end there. Shame, cos we're not exactly swamped with great downhill venues in the SE.
