Hi

Against my better judgement I was encouraged to spray my bike with Pro Clean Pro care. I was careful to avoid the brakes however having ridden it a bit tonight it's obvious I wasn't careful enough as I now have no brakes (hydraulic disc)

Any ideas what I could use to remedy or will it just burn off in time

Thanks

Stephen

Use emery cloth on pads to rough them up a bit, then muck off disk cleaner (or any other solvent cleaner) on disks and pads and wipe off with rag. If it does not work replace pads i'm afraid, superstar do brake pads at a very good price

We can look at it Sunday if you want??

Or as above ruff up the pads then clean the disks off...

I normally put a tesco bag (or use bag of your choice ;-) ) over both disks if wheels still on before spraying bike.. Or remove wheels away....

Watch them as I have taken my bike into them a few times (my Marin came with free platinum after-care) and gave them plenty of time.. but they did not do it.. stood in shop and made them do it whilst I waited having gone in to pick bike up...they did the job but a pain having dropped bike of two days before...( this was the Chelmsford branch)

Well, not trying to put in a shameless plug, but kind of is, lol..... But if you ever get more probs, give me a shout and will take a peak FOC. Your brakes probably just need decomtaminating which i could do in my washer - which ive done plenty of times.
