Hi all,

Me again (the big bike build starts today so expect a few questions on here!)

First job is fitting the bottom bracket (Shimano SM-BB70) that came with the chainset. Am I right in thinking for a 68mm shell its two washers drive side and one on the other?

Cheers

It is usually but it would be worth checking the tech manual on the shimano website

If you're using a conventional front mech then yes. There should be a pamphlet that come with the chainset/BB that explains what spacers to use with different BB widths and mechs.
