One that you find comfy but that can be trial and error. Saddles come in a variety of widths, lengths and designs. You could get fitted for one like specialized BG saddles or just go for pot luck.
I use a WTB rocket V mostly on my FS and find it comfy as well a specialized BG on my hardtail.
Charge spoon saddles are highly rated and cheap.

I've used a charge spoon and found it excellent
i am currently on an sdg bel air i beam and that is also very good.

if its for mostly freeride etc get a hard wearing saddle.

I have been running SDG I-Beam saddles for the past few years and have recently fitted a gusset kevlar saddle to my DJ bike.

I would recommend both!

I second the Charge Spoon too, saw a rave review in Dirt and got one. Its cheap (£20) and appears tough, no unstiching.

I do like the look/idea of the I-beam 'Mud' version with the grippy rubber bits but have yet to see a Rail version.
