Anybody got a 29.8 seatpost knocking about that they don't need / want for a few quid?

I'll be building the bike for Surfette this coming month and it's one of the bits I'm gonna need along with Headset and BB.

It's to go in a Decathlon Rockrider FS frame.

Are you sure it's the seatpost that's 29.8mm. That's usually the seat clamp size on a 27.9mm seatpost. However, if is is the rarer 29.8mm then would something like this: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/push-alloy-seat ... _Seat_Post do?

Yep, it's 29.8

Measured across it's ID simply with a measuring tape it comes just a smidge under 30mm so 29.8

So Surfette gets a FS bike before you do....

Technically yes Jamie but I'll build it, have a few goes round local trails and if I like the feel, will go and buy a '08 Stumpy for myself

Yep, had found that and still had it open as a tab in chrome...

But it's price tag contradicts the 'usually very cheap'

That's why I had looked around and found the Orange one

Might pop down there though and have a browse when back

But might go for the 6.99 Orange one as doesn't seem too bad.
