Right BB DHL'ing it's way to me.. so that's one thing out the way (unityjon thanks for the offer but I got an XT/SLX BB70 one coming)

Now just the rear cage to sort.. I don't want to really spend out on a whole new derailleur as it's not the part that is actually broken... I can find jockey wheel spares but not the cage it's self?. Anyone know who may do these are have an old one just lying around :D

What's the exact model of the Mech Jamie? You can get the inner and outer plates as spares. Petra Cycles: http://www.petracycles.co.uk/m770-outer ... 19723.html Shimano tech docs will give you the full part number

Might be but might be over at a Fete at Little Waltham school, which might be closer for you to do a quick pickup. Will check with the boss tonight.

Oh cool that's just down the road from me. I'm over Hadleigh castle course Saturday for a walking tour. So could swing buy if time is convenient

Right rest of bits for bike arrived, Pinkbike saved the day and me spending loads. Got a rear mech with only slight use and as new condition for half the price of a new one. Needed to get the hanger from KHS dealer in uk , but all sorted...

BB already fitted so just gotta fiddle with the gears now...

Did you make sure it was a 10 speed as that style of XT rear mech comes in 9 and 10 speed? Just wanted to make sure as they aren't compatible with each other.

Yep it's a 10 speed one

The model number is stamped into the back of it and matches mine. I made sure of that.

I may even get away with just replacing the hanger and the bent broken bits on mine.. And not need to fiddle with the H L screws ;-)
