I also popped into local Halfords and settled on a Bell Venture.

Well comfy and you don't even know you're wearing it most of the time.

Im a bit of an online shopper so was good to visit the Evans store to try some on, my previous Fox Flux was S/M so was glad I visited and got a bigger size 661, although places like Wiggle and CRC both do the free return service (where you drop it off at certain stores, WHSmiths, etc).

Ive just bought a Fox Rampage and its really nice and feels good too! but its £80 little over your budget but you pay for what you get...
