Went to the bikeshow today and overall i was very dissapointed, there were a few MTB brands there such as rose, yeti, transition, shimano and superstar. these seemed great but all the products that the company brought along was mainly low end gear!!
The guest ended up cancelling due to injury, and most of the stands were still setting up, at 7PM !!
There were a few bargains there such as superstar lock ons for £5 each and 4 MBUK mags and a pair of shimano spd pedals for £3 (absolute bargain !!)
The northshore track there was ok (even though i spent 2 hours on it, Eventually being told to leave because my speed was putting other riders at risk
I ended up demoing a rose jump bike on the pump track, and a commencial 4X bike.
I even won a Buff
Other than that the show was mainly full of fold up bikes and road bikes!!
But if you go be warned, parking for 5+ hours is £15 and a hot dog is £3.50 so bring your own food.
