No issues with L size for knee pads? Wish they were little smaller? I need to change order in this case...

Right finaly got my 661 Rage knee pads at the weekend. Have not had a chance to use them out on the trails but had a try on and walk around the flat for a bit in them. Apart from looking a bit bulky, they seam to be alright. The small fits me fine (15" top and 12.5" bottom of knee) with plenty of room in the strap lengths to tighten or slacken if required. Still felt hot but not as much as my full length pads. Once used in the real world i will post up.

i have a 661 pressure suit in Large and nukeproof knee and shin in Large

Regarding nukeproof. I went fol M and it's too small. L is right size so I'd say sizing chart is correct. Not like other people mentioned way off (other forum).

Great protection, comfortable to wear however damn hot and bulky. I will go for Endura knee and elbow size L/XL. I preffer comfort over protecion. I do not do DH stupp just more extreme XC and medium protection will do. For more crazy stuff I will need new pads. So two sets for me. One for everyday trail riding and one for endure crazyness.

Right been out twice with my new 661 rage pads and farely pleased with them

Pros
Good knee protection (covers front & sides of knee nicely)
Hard wearing material
Fit (most items full off me as i'm a small build but these seam fine with lots of strap adjustment)
Does not move around (even though i hardly use the velcro strap to lock in place)
Comforable that you don't notice them (most important, other wise you would not wear them)

Con
Bulky looking
Still warm so can get a bit sweaty
Have to mud leg through rather than strap on to knee

I agree, I wore them properlly for first time the other day at danbury and rode from South Woodham Ferrers and felt fine, very comfy even on a long ride, dont feel like they are going to slip/move.

Do look bulky, but have hard shell, (Ive got 661 Veghgie Hart & Huntingdon - alot thinner should I want thinner ones.

Got the 661 Riot Elbow too, in M, a bit tight on my skinny arms !...I initially strapped em up well and lost feeling a bit in my hands....So I'd say L would suit most people.
