Hi guys and gals.

I know this is a bit of a long shot but ive always been told if you dont ask you dont get so here goes!

One of my cousins is doing a charity bike ride from London to Brighton in about 13 weeks time but is lacking a suitable bike to do it on.
Rather than buying a bike for a one off occasion i said id see if anyone was feeling charitable enough to loan and old road bike/light xc bike to do the ride on.
Id be willing to put a deposit on the bike or something to put anyones mind at ease and if broken would be happy to pay for repairs ect.

Hi Mate, May be doing this myself but have not got a bike to lend unfortunately. Your cousin will not want a old road bike though as its 95% off road with lots of ups and downs, it also says on the website "not suitable for bikes with narrow wheels" He will be much better off with a XC bike
