I have been running a blackspire dewlie guide as my intention was to run 2 x 9 but i had problems with my front mech fouling the rear tyre so i am happy to run 1 x 9

i have been narrowing it down to the below choices, i was hoping someone would have some advice regarding the guides and if possible how well they work with the pitch.

Superstar plasma
http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_ ... cts_id=363

E13 Ls1
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=50664

MRP mini G2 steel
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=61123

all of these would be run with no bash guard and a 34 tooth ring.
The fitment is ISCG OLD

If your thinking of getting rid of the dewlie let us know, I gave up on my hunt for a bash / chain device a while back but after seeing surferEv's new unplanned tattoo on his shin think i may just get one and be done, the dewlie was on my hit list ! !

I had a Superstar and another cheap make I cant remember but now I love my MRP, the only one Ive been able to set up perfectly and run really quiet, unfortunatly the most expensive but you see new/good condition ones pop up on PinkBike quite a bit, sometimes from muppets like me who buy the wrong one ISCG 05 instead of ISCG ! and resell it.

I run 1x9 on my pitch. I have the straitline silentguide which is silent (funnily enough) and never drops the chain. Used plenty of chain guides for 1x9 over the years and this is by far the best one I have come across.
