Chatel.., my pal Dan has sorted it all. Do you need to wrap the frame up John, for the uplift?

Cant be bothered to tape up my frame,. dont think the lifts are particullary rough on bikes, Ive not been to Chatel, just used lifts in Morzine/Les Gets, they are all different so hang on diff bits. Pleney one you hook wheel on side of car, at Les Gets, the whole wheel sits in loop on the car in front of you, etc.

The worst one is the plenny bubble - the bike whacks into the side of it! The rest of the lifts these days are really good from what I remember... maybe the Morgins one is a bit shadey as well.

Usually I put some tape on the seatstays as they are the bits which can get scuffed if your unlucky

Cant recall my bike whacking the side on Pleney but I guess the potential is there (when the doors open/close)

The main Les Gets one (Chavannes) is perfect as the only bit that touches is the tyre, but first time getting ya bike on is sometimes tricky.
