Really easy to do

Well put new Lidl bike stand to test today... nice bit of kit for £30

Completely changed over the rear mech, changed hanger as well, nice silver one in place, then the gear adjusting begun..

Must say the rear was easy to adjust and set up but the front mech...Fecking hell what a shit that was, as the chain was binding on the front mech I could not get it to move, played around some more, swore a bit more.. then got it where I wanted it and lost the top cog.. FFS.. bit more twisting and fettling... eventually got all gears, road tested it all seemed fine no chain dropping, all this faffing about makes me want to go two up front and chain device...

Nice bike stand, the bike's alright too! Did you change the front mech too then? Shouldn't have required much fettling otherwise.

No just changed the rear but the front was binding on the chain so making a noise, so needed doing.

Well today's ride tested all the Newley fitted parts.. And I can say they performed impeccably especially the new bb, so smooth on all the ride, gears never slipped or missed a beat, so impressed with my fixing and indexing skills there...
