Birthday today and the Mrs got me a GoPro HD camera – well chuffed as I wasn’t expecting it and have wanted one for ages. Anyway it only came with a helmet mount to fit on a round style helmet and the one I use isn’t.
So being a model maker in my spare time, I figured I could easily (and cheaply
) make a custom mount. So out came the milliput; made a thick rectangle the size of the bottom of the helmet mount and pushed this into the grooves on the helmet to form to its shape. A quick tidy up and some gloss black paint and viola:
Cost me nothing, as I had the materials already - not bad eh?
