Well before I end up dropping too much money on one I need some help choosing one, having done my research every single one on the market is flawed in one way or another.

I've narrowed it down to two right now the Reverb and the Kronlog both have their issues.

I'm leaning towards the Kronolog even though the mechanism eats away at the post as CB will warrenty it and I'll be buying it from my LBS the Reverb I've got friends that just keep breaking them while riding.

I like the idea that the cable will stay stationary on the Kronolog as well plus it matches my other parts.

I treated myself to one of the ones a LBS has in stock here its an I.C.E one, there's a couple of issues but not enough for me to not recommend.

1 is that there is a small amount of seat movement side to side but you never notice when your riding, only when you move the bike by hand and use the saddle to control it
2 the one i have has only 3 positions, down /midway/fully extended, but to be fair you only sit on the seat at ride height, so set fully extended to your perfect ride height, you only drop the seat to get it out the way so the middle position may be enough unless your going full on dirt jumping them pop it down to the bottom.

neither of these 'bad' points are an actual issue, i paid £110 for it and it was a luxury buy for me, had buyers remorse immediately after handing the cash over but last night at Danbury it came into its own, its one of the best things i've ever bought, i loved dropping teh seat down to rag down the trails and then just pop it back up and ride straight to the top to go again, i managed to ride back up after every run last night rather than getting knackered because of the poor geometry caused by having the seat stuck down permanently, they're awesome.

If you're spending big bucks like the reverb or Kronolog just go for features i guess ??

I run a Joplin 4, love it. but the only downside is the cable being routed through the top of the post?
I have a Joplin 3 in 31.6 flavour that is all but destroyed in needing of a service if your interested £20.

The cable on mine is stationary, thats a really good thing as it means when its down (i.e when you're throwing the bike around most) you dont have a big loop of excess cable flapping about !

I've been looking for one for a while and been waiting to hear reviews of the new kronolog. Really dont like the reviews its been getting. Currently like the look of the new KS Lev post. But cant find anywhere that sells them yet.

I've seen the wiggle one, they do a 150 mm drop version, can't seem to find one availaible, all ive seen is the 125 one

Price wise, only 30-40 quid more than a reverb and I prefer the cable routing
