Hi

I am new to this forum, this is my first post. I am going to head over to Thorndon tommorrow to try out the trails there. The woods look quite large from the map and as I have never been there I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction of where to park and if there is a specific trail/ direction I should head for when I get there? I only have the morning free so dont want to waste time looking for the best spot.

Thanks for any help

Moysey

Hi Unityjon

Thanks for the prompt reply. I thik I am going to park up and start at the go kart track and head left and make a loop from there. It should not take too many trips to familiarise myself with the place and find the good spots from there.

Thanks

Moysey

Personal experiance says you wont find 90% of the riding spots unless you are shown or have a GPX file of it.

Hi vw surf bum

I have heard it may be tricky. Hopefully I will have fun trying to find them though.
I have promised my son we are going now so I have to go check it out.

Ahhh yes . I have a four year old boy also, only just four last week though and he is still on his stabilisers fireman Sam bike so I have to give him a bit if time before he can come out.
