Hi all

I'm about to upgrade my gearing to xt and am unsure what crank I need ie 180 etc and what size conventional front derailer I need as I can't see any reference on existing deore componants

I have a 2012 trek fuel ex 7 , is there any one that could advise as I'm buying from chain reaction so would like to get it right first time

From the spec and pics you have a 175mm cranks (will be embossed on the back of your current ones) and a conventional front derailleur (bottom swing/top pull probably 34.9mm as the seatpost is 31mm, something like http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=67202 (31.8 - 34.9 dual pull). If you remove the current derailleur the sizr should be on the inside of the clamp or the adapters that may be on the clamp.
