Chatel and les Lindarets are old favourites. We didn't have that good weather but no rain. TBH we spent the most time over @ les Lindarets as the red and black down there are just superb. We also picked out way through the Black Shore over in Chatel which flows so well and spent a bit of time on La komatrautrail. All good.

Yes Pappa !. Good video, the Chatel Black Shore still looks terrifying, I did the red at Les Lindarets but dodged most of the shore stuff being the wuss I am, going back in few weeks so may have to visit the Chatel runs

That first shore line - f**k yeh indeed - great line well ridden. You two were on it for this trip I can tell!

gutted i missed it - really mistimed the whole baby thing!!

Babies do seem to equal a missed year of riding dude.. that was me 12 months ago....always next year!

While driving In the middle of France we were given the ROCK sign by some other DHs, after they spotted our bikes - its now has to be used at every opportunity while biking

Gary might have lost his brake pads on the mountain and not been able to get down the hill... but we decided it was more important to do a photo and to show we ROCK! Miraculously he found his missing pads up the hill.

i noticed you all seem to be wearing a fair bit of clothing is that because its cold up the top or is it under armour?

T-shirt over armour (with built in under armour) most of the time for me. Its deffo cooler in the mountains however.

I want to go back to the Alps!

Hi Guys. Greetings from Wales. Just came across your site while googling Pila. Great pics and vids.Am just back from 3 weeks riding Les Gets, Chatel, and Pila. Was my first time in Pila but have ridden others loads, was really impressed with the set up at Pila and had a great time out there despite my son being airlifted off mountain to Aosta and having his wrist reset there. Already planning another visit there this year and our crew gonna be heading out there next summer. Happy trails.
