I thought I would do a review on my forks for you guys….... I have been and am running White Brothers Loop 100's. I know White Brothers are not an obvious choice as main stream brands such as Fox or Rockshox, but from personal experience these should not be discounted!!

I have been using them since March and in that time they have been put through their paces. They have faced a full season of National level 4x racing, DH riding at places such as Danbury, Woburn and Chicksands as well as use at BMX tracks, and even Cross Country!!

Prior to these I had been running Fox 831's. Now these are seen as the ones to buy for 100mm single crown, however at £599.99rrp the Loop's are nearly £200 cheaper than the 831's but unlike most forks the cheaper price tag does not mean there is a huge weight difference. The Loops come in at a only smidge heavier than the 831's which is a great achievement for White Brothers.

The biggest difference in the forks is the adjustment. For the majority of riders, setting your suspension up before and during your ride can be a confusing task. I myself found that the 831's had a huge amount of adjustment but most of which was complicated and would detract from my ride. At the end of each run you'd adjust a bit, do another run find it still wasn’t quite right, adjust a bit more, until your completely knackered, the days riding is done and by then your settings are just about right! The Loops simplify this as they only have rebound and compression adjustment along with the air pressure. Since using the Loops I have been adjusting the forks much more to the riding conditions. As there is less to adjust, it is quicker and easier to do and makes for a more rewarding and comfortable ride. They are a super plush fork and I have been really surprised at how much I have grown to love them!

The overall finish of the forks is superb. I have had a few heavy crashes this season and these have stood up to the knocks. They come in a choice of white or black to match your bike colour schemes.

Before you change your forks check these out, available in 26in and 29in versions with 80 -150mm travel they can cover most application!!! I know if I build another bike these will be going on!!

Nice to hear a bit more about them as we were looking at them a while ago.
Norcbot (Dan) on here had White brothers Groove 180's and they are such a plush set of forks.
I don't know why more people don't go for them to be honest.
