I've not had a chance to try on our local trails in anger but worth considering and I'll mention is to Del this evening :)

you cant measure it that way as too many variables.
always do your tyres/shocks/forks unweighted

next it will be nitrogen filled to make it stable pressure when it heats up! :lol:

They do, but not tubeless as it dry's the sealant out.

And using the link provided by VW above and all my parameters for Nic on Front I get.......... 26psi..

One thing im always interested in is the sizing difference between tyres currently im running a Kenda Small Block 2.35 up front on my blender. Im tempted to go 2.2 all round on rubber queens or 2.1 nobby nic upfront and racing ralph on the rear. Is it all marketing bull shit or will it actually make a difference if a run difference rubber and sizes up front and at the back?

Not ness in sizes but going from a small block to a rubber queen will be a massive difference!

Back in the good 'ol days BMX racers used to run fats up front and skinny's in the rear for years and years

And I usually have the 2.25 Ralph on the back and the 2.25 Nic up front so the front grips well and directs me, letting the rear roll well, but just follow (but I'm on a HardTail anyway)

In the winter I swapped the Nic to the rear and put a 2.0 MudX on the front which seemed ok and changed back when the weather improved a couple of months back.

But yesterday I left the Nic up front and put the MudX on the rear and it was better again. I had grip for direction but the MudX dug down under the mud and gave me plenty of pedaling traction in the gloop. It also sheds the mud so much better.

I'm really interested to understand how different tyres make the bike behave differently but itsd an expensive gamble (for me at least) so i may just play it safe and stick with the high rollers as thats what i know and have no issues with, if i change them and the bike rides like crap i'll be devastated, but then i miss the chance of it getting even better ???

Sorry but haven't looked at this topic for a while,
No it's not because it's just what I have, I needed something between my winter Mud x's and summer xdx's for the trip we made to Wales. I wanted grip up front and as little resistance at the rear. And as it turned out the rubber queen race king combo has been fantastic, infact the're perfect. I never wanted for grip at afan and i rolled like a run away train. Also I've done a couple of 50km road rides without much effort.
But there is only one tyre for the gloop and that's the Mud'x. That's why I'd recommend getting a second set of wheels. There's some cracking deals on eBay for around £50 - £80.
