YES i agree this is a great forum & i have met some awesome people. BUT what i DONT like " and i will make myself clear" is people who were not even in 5 miles reach of the place trying to tell me what happend. IF you were there then YES you can make a valid point if not then your just guessing.
Everyone offering advise (now sure about Kellboy) in this thread has had skills training in jumping. There is a 'eureka' moment when you learn how to jump and realise how simple it is. We've also been taught to self-diagnose our riding techniques and to work out what went wrong.
Its easy to work out what went wrong with you because you didn't execute the jumping technique because you didn't see it.
I didnt offer any advice on muzza jumping techniqu or WHY he crashed, I merely said seeing it as a fluke is a bad idea imho, why Im suddenly being told im judging his mistake when I wasnt there is confusing to say the least.
I can control my jumps ok , but I cannot get much height out of them, and your right its self diagnosis, I know exactly why I cant get height its because I suck it in rather then extend out, I can see it perfectly in videos, its just practice and more practice to iron the technique out! Im loose enough in my jumps now to start moving the bike around in the air tho
