Guys,

Do you think Swampthings are to knobby for Cwm trails? Should I change over to Minions?

Colorado was Epic, just got back from two weeks snowboarding fun in one piece, now for Bike fun :)

I'd ride the Minions. My Swampthings are coming off after the weekend, or maybe before if it stays dry.

Not sure it will work as I am in NW10. I can take my own car and possibly even give another person a lift, it is just that it looks like you are all north and north east near the M25. Anyways, for now I am not concerned about transport though it might be nice to travel in company.

I think we will meet at one of the services on the way down - usually this stuff gets agreed a few days before so keep an eye on the thread. Lifts are still being sorted out so no idea who is going down with who. ill pm you my number so you have a contact. Ive never ridden with Lawbags and his mates so you wont be the only person meeting new people for the first time.. we are all a friendlily bunch so should be a relaxed and chilled out day!

Things ill mention

It can get a bit cold and windy so make sure u bring warm stuff
The cafe is great for lunch but its tricky to nip up there between runs so bring a bit of food
There is usually an hours break in the uplifts for lunch
You will need to pay a toll to enter wales via the severn bridge - make sure you have £5.70 to hand.. no toll is needed coming back.
Bring a couple of spare tubes

Cheers

The cameras mainly used are helmet cameras
either the contour HD or the Go Pro HD

Something else to look out for....speed camera vans on bridges down the M4!
I got pinged doing 101 last year and my mate got caught doing 87 over the bridge last trip.

Err, I think so. Apparantly its a hotspot for them. The bridge is a 50, but you think its a national speed limit. So my mate is bricking it!

Rode Epping Sunday with Ninja and Crash, pretty good condition on North side given rain that fell during the week.

Cleaning bike afterwards getting ready for Cwm ( Minions on now) came across rear brake mounting practicaly hanging off! Lucky i noticed this before DH fun otherise probably been first one down, mind you maybe should have left it alone LOL!

Looking forward to meeting old and new faces on Friday, should be a great day, no matter what the weather!
