Fair play mate.. but if it was me id keep em as V2s are wicked brakes and stick that cash towards a holiday or a wagon or something - you really wont get that much extra performance from switching dude :)

If you do switch id agree on the "ones" (ive got the 1st gen ones) but the saints are as good and maybe easier to maintain (ive had a good fiddle with Joels)

I know what you mean, but i personally am not to keen on the feel of the V2's, probably just me being fussy,
Anyway, i had a offer for £380 for the brakes, so am keen to get rid of them.

Just been looking at the reviews for "the one's" and i am impressed.

I have the saints and like them a lot.

great power and lots of adjustment to be had.

easy to maintain, no dot fluid just mineral.

i also run the same style XTs on the hardtail and they work very well too but without the full on anchor out the back feel of the saints.

What about the avid codes? They seem to have good reviews

I like my Codes. The original ones had a few teething problems (I didnt, but I got lucky) but the 2011 ones are supposed to be excellent.

Formula had a sh*t after sales as some of you know I went almost a year without my brakes due to a fault and sold them still not put right. Apparently they are distributed by silverfish now so things may well of changed.
