Just watching some Go Pro ones from Alps, they are at 1280 x 960 and about 100mb per minute.

The Go Pros do look good, but I have a contour GPS and i love it! The problem with the Go Pros is that they just look so bulky, but the contours are very small and sleek. They video quality on the Contour is brilliant and they are very robust.

No, but i dont particularly like the chest mounts unless they are used as part of a larger edit in small sections. I want to see one of the DSLR chest mounts Silvia films use, Look at the quality!

Got a Contour hd too and I'm very happy with the quality and the design. No doubt Go Pro's quality is excellent but don't like wearing a toast on my helmet. No chest mount for Contour that Im aware of. Video shakes when mounted on helmet and your eyes go crazy. Now it's perfect mounted on frame. Paid £103 almost new.

Where do you put the cam? I used to wear it on top of my helmet very tightly secured but it was my helmet that was kind of moving so clips eere not perfect. Now they look good.

Ian, contour home made chest mounting looks horrendous hehe
