Thorndon with JC.
Odd puddle ground still haRd even by Manor house. The kind of mud that stops you dead patches of it on dog bin run but that's not dry out any time this year!

Good to hear Epping isn't a swamp after the recent rain, there may just be a few more weeks riding left in the place.

Thorndon today was dryer than on Wednesday, all muddy patch can be avoided to about 95%. You can still have a good ride. If the rain stops now we could have a nice week of riding coming up.

Bugger, was hoping to get out to Thorndon today before it started raining. Still waiting for my CRC delivery from PARCELFOOOOORCE (fuck off!). Sods are going to deliver it at the last minute no doubt.

When I was out earlier in the week it was damp, but still fairly hard in places, nothing like the slosh from earlier in the year.

Thorndon not as bad as expected today. It's damp, but some trails were drying out. Plenty of leaves on the ground in the wooded areas.

It's nothing like the bog it was earlier in the year, definitely time for winter tyres and mud guards though.

Out in Epping this morning, still a few dry lines but it's getting wet now. Some of the puddles are deep and sucky!
