After a bit of investigation of why they have been shut so long

have finally worked out (not 100% sure yet, will confirm in the next couple of days) but they have turned into a motocross place

appears 2 be there website from what i can work out, and the video is the land were the bike park was and a big mx track... so im guessing rumours be true

great 'customer service' letting people know they have closed and changed via there fb page

Ok on further looking not there website, but a mx club has ridden there...

messaged the owner on fb again 2 get more details on if the bike park has been kept in another location of the site

It would be a shame if they have switched to mx as I was hoping to check it out this year,

Well heard back after messaging the owner on facebook if the bike park will reopen

'im not 100% sure i would like it to reopen as a bike park but i will keep u informed if it deos mate'

so who knows, might be mx over winter, bikepark in the summer.

Just been anounced on there facebook :

Greensands Bike Park:
Sorry we won't be open in 2011. Major engineering works stopped play and tracks and jumps have been removed. Thanks for all the support in 2010

Seems such a waste of money seeing as it was only built last year

I might just keep it on there for a couple months and point out its closed in-case anyone is wondering what has happened to it.
