Fellow Stumpjumpers.

I was extremely happy to find this 'group' of what seems to a very broard range of like minded individuals that share the enjoyment that their 2 wheeled companions bring them, be it down a track, across feilds, commuting to and from work or as I have been finding myself, covered in mud and pulling my bike out of a tree.

About 2 months ago I came across a web site called www.essexhertsmtb.co.uk - I spent a great deal of time looking through it and started to remenise about my childhood and the fun that my ride gave me. This remenising persuaded me to, about a month ago now, purchase my first bike since I was 15 years old (now 32). I am enjoying it now more than when I was a young buck (except the fitness levels that I am sure will come with time) and look forward to building on the happy yet sometimes argumentative relationship that myself and my bike have developed in the past month.

I have seen the calender on the web-site and look forward to joining you bunch of 'fair grunters' on a trip out sometime in the near future.

Ciao for now.

Thank you for your kind welcome. I used the term 'stunt jumper' only because I believe that this was the name of the 1st production mtb name, correct me if I am wrong being a vet mtb'er ( specialized). As said before. I look forward to meeting fellow mtb's so that I can hone my falling of techniques.
