Been to Codham twice (it's one of MSG rounds) pretty good if it's not wet and as it's private and the owner runs a digger hire he can just dig new features! Would be great if they opened it up more.
Braintree BMX track is shown here up at Tabor: https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=cm75bl ... ngdom&z=17

So what's the deal - I thought rides and access to Hadleigh was being run via Hadleigh MTB Club?

Very interesting - Hadleigh MTB Club seem to suggest that they are running the show over there...

With regards Braintree BMX... if they'll let me at it on my 29er then I'm game but I'm sure it's not made for it..!

He told me (today via email) he was hoping to start the coaching at Hadleigh next weekend and that he's just waiting on the council at the moment.

Bit of a hot topic this, as various people (including me) are not too happy with the way Hadleigh MTB has been run, and as you suggest the way they appear to be running the show, I was booted off the FB page as I mentioned that I probably didnt want to pay to join the full club and sign up to their T&C's, others have been booted off the page too for various reasons and left quite a large number who dont want anything to do with the 'club' anymore..a pity.

There are various posts about this on thje Muckers FB page.

I note that a new official Fb page has also appeared but hasnt much detail. > https://www.facebook.com/HadleighFarmAndCountryPark

It would appear that the track cant be ridden untill next autumn which is an awful long time to wait, although signs posted in Hadleigh Park are somewhat worded a bit strange..and dont explicitly state riding is banned.

I think it would be a bit strange if a private individual was allowed access to the track (and effectively run a profit making business) and no-one else was...well..not till Autumn 2013.
