I'm looking to try and get over to Danbury this weekend weather permitting, not definite yet though.

Is there anyone whose going to be over there anyway that wouldn't mind showing a noob round ?

Also anyone know what the trails conditions are like over there at the moment ?

I'm planning to go there on Sunday, I've been there just once but the trails are straight forward and fun, conditions were fine. I will know for sure if I'm heading to Danbury on Saturday, I'll give you a shout.

Went over today (1/11/12) . this was my first time - so new to me. trails are very wet and gritty. Even tried some runs in wet and hailstones. Some really good runs. big drop offs.

Hope to be getting back there sat morning aswell. could be a regular thing.

I've only been there once so far but I managed 3 close encounters with a tree and roots so body armour topped my shopping list:)
I would say that a full face for Danbury is a very good idea :)

What bike/model you are looking at? I got the Nukeproof critical armour jacket. Tried it today at Danbury - works well

It was dry. A bit of mud around the berms section.

The forecast for tomorrow is rain. If the weather holds I'll be there too
