Hello,

I'm planning to buy a new jacket. Having start commuting to work cycling I'm looking for something which can be comfortable during my rides. I like a lot the style of The North Face jackets and put an eye on the Apex Bionic Jacket or the Apex Android Hoodie Jacket
What do you think? are good choices for riding?
I ride about 15 minute to work every morning plus other 15 minutes for my way back home, but I use the bike as only vehicle as well. So, sometimes I have to ride for 30 minutes or more, depends on my needs.
I don't like the usual cycling jackets because are to.. cycling?!? I am looking for something that I can use also for a walking or during my spare time.

EDIT: I forgot to say that I ride a road bike. I don't know if it can help. Anyway I didn't set the bike in a too racing position.

I use an endura lightweight thing which is very comfy as it doesn't make me hot and it packs into a jersey pocket. the longest ride i have used it for was about 3 hours its pretty waterproof and keeps the wind off.

incidently i rode in it the whole time i did a skills course with ukbikeskills so it is flexible enough for off road stuff too

It maybe a little pricey but im about to get this as after researching a few online it seems pretty much the best cycling jacket out right now. Its a softshell so will keep you warm and dry bar any full on torrential rain. The bonus for me is like you said it doesn't look like a cycling jacket but, its tailored to be exactly that with longer arms, deep hood and skirt bit at the back.

In olive green is captivative. At least in the pictures
I have to find them in a local shop (West London) to make a decision. Any tips on where I can find them?

That's true but I'm thinking on use the jacket both for 30 minutes rides and during my journey off the bike. So I need something which can warm me if I'm waiting outside a place or walking around.
Do you know where I can find Madison, DHB and Intrepid apparels in London? I don't want to order the wrong size.
