Ah gbu yeah thats a pretty good trail with some psycho drop off straight after a corner in the middle of it, was quite full on and relies on you being on the ball.
i think it will be better in drier conditions as the drop off straight after a corner was pretty impossible given that you would slide as you hit the drop.

the path gaps were fine to hit the doubles i was less confident on given the slurry on the take offs but that is due to my inexperience rather than the trail being bad, there were lots of creative options on the lower sections.

GBU was great - getting high and light on the roots on the corner before the first drop, which gave you a strait line into the lip seemed to help... then it was a case of hang on and try and make the corner! A real challenge in the wet. Loved it.

Kept getting lost at the bottom thought - wasnt sure what to jump and what not to jump... the jumps of the bottom of mr rooty and were easier to navigate.

Ha, mr rooty was class, suprised I stayed on, big fan of endo as well.

put a few names to faces, was good to catch up with Karve. Jim - was good to meet you man, gutted I can't make revolution if you do end up going.

GBU was my favourite, the two drops weren't too bad, i found getting on the anchros straight after landing meant I didn't crash of anything, and the jump line at the end was so good, could have spent most of the day on that.

Wet roots.. I would have injured myself for certain. Hope you have a quick recovery Northern, at least you picked the best time of year for an injury!

FoD is next on my to-do list now that I finally ticked Aston Hill off at the weekend (S2A is loads of fun!).

It wasnt too bad at all. The only slippery run was Endo, which Imo was very boring anyway, regardless of it beign slippery, sheepskull and ski run where quite rocky and steppy but running so well, andy said to me "I think we should ease up a little bit next run" so we proceeded to bomb it down faster then the previous lol!

It would have been bad for me, mainly due to my poor selection of tyres to choose from. I'm still running a High Roller on the rear, which was pretty much like a slick by the 2nd run at Aston.

Thanks for the info on GBA, it was brand new last time I was there and looked to be surfaced differently to the other trails.
lol@ the comments on which way to go, they put signs up to indicate which way to go at the bottom.
I didnt go for that drop in the dry though. Well done to those that hit it
Table at the bottom and the double make endo worth it, but its been trumped by gba now.

Agree with Jon, I got a bit lost at the bottom of GBU in terms of getting the flow on.

But the top was ace some lovely step up hip thingies which you could really go for. But it was all rollable - the 2 drops are fine even if you run em slow. The landings are built up more than you realise looking at the horizon line from above.

Tom and I caught some guys up on our later run of it and 2 of them actually rolled both the drops. ( I wouldn't have thought it possible unless I had seen them do it)

Great time was had including the XC curse / climbathon after the uplift finished!

Healing vibes Adam- you ran a section with a broken thumb! Pretty hardcore!

(Lovin the 2.5 maxis super tackies this weekend)
