Gotta get up early to prep my steed.
Looking forward to loosing my Chicksands Cherry

This might be a really silly question but I'm used to heading out on long xc or trails so wear clothing appropriate to that.

For the likes of Chicksands (not bothering with the xc loop, just a few hours of 'playtime') will I get away with different stuff or just wear the same?

Wear the same buddy as pushing up gets yoy warm!

Yeah.... That was a cool ride & couldn't believe how good the track condition is there. Shed loads of grip and speed!!!
Was good to be reunited with an old foe though, i used to hate slalom rides.... Just a shame theres not many DH runs.

Is that 2nd video with the sign saying 'single track' of a new run? looks like it could be fun

kev, its a new singletrack trail been there about a month, starts from behind the start ramp for the 4x and goes round the 4x track ending up at the bottom where the 4x/dual end.

Yeah it needs bedding in a bit as it was quite wet and slow still.

Good days riding over at chicky... almost got blown across the carpark getting the bikes ready.. but in the woods all was good.... Few gloopy bits but not much. Nice to get the bike back dust it off then lock it away

Think we all nailed the dual slalom course in the end, and the 4x.... the down hill snake run was great fun

Awesome day for me. Building up confidence throughout the day and learning I favoured the dual slalom over the 4x. Was hitting it hard by the end and getting some great air (and distance) off the last 2 jumps of the left lane.
Enjoyed the Snake run too.
Good to see you again Chris, it's been ages.
