So my weekend of riding got smashed to bits by my lovely wife's climb up the managerial ladder!
oh well just have to stay home and be dad again!....something i struggle with sometimes!....dont these women know im having a mid lifer...lol.

12 hour days and nights deffently get in the way of things, all that extra moneys is well and good but not if you can spend it on thing to break

I feel ya pain..ride round the garden..i rode from my bedroom to the wc the other day to test new bars,about 12ft..sad a..Z

Not been on a group ride since the summer as I've not been able to take 4 hours out due to the missus working weekends.

Gets better when your kids get older, they can look after them self.... but a bigger drain on your ££££££

Working life stops me all week, working away or in londonian, so weekends is my only release... wifey and daughter are well used to this now and adapt to it

I had it all sorted with 5 days a week off but now wifes hours are changing daily but i will win in the end!

I work all weekends so weekdays is when I get time but have to work it around kid at nursery and my mrs with that car

I'm struggling too at the moment, with only the one car operational at the moment its hard to get out and about, plus being 3 hrs later home than I first thought on Sunday which messed the missus day right up I'm properly in the dog house, still the silence is nice:lol:

I just about managed to get the reindeer lights up on the hedge when we got back (4:30) as I had promised to do so just dodged that bullet

Pain felt from all angles. Riding in the week is right out as I don't usually get home till 20:00. My weekends are usually tied up as the g/f likes to organise 12 months in advance, or I have no car as the lady is working. I'm sure I never had this problem when I was single and living in my own place with my own motor...... Then the g/f starts booking up my holiday as well!!! So, I have told her, 10 days next year are mine, she can keep her grubby little organising fingers off! Although we have a holiday in Vancouver next year for just over two weeks so I think I might disappear for two days, leave her with my parents while I bugger off up Whistler

Small consolation, but in 10 days time, after 21st Dec, the days statr getting longer again!

We'll all be dead then though.....apparently
