I'm planning on riding at UK Bike Park on Saturday 30th April 2011 as part of a long birthday weekend camping celebration / commiseration of my move from Masters to Vets.

Open invite to anyone here although realise that many may be organising their own Wills and Kate street parties for that weekend .... anyone keen?

Website doesn't seem to have on-line booking for the uplift yet but I've sent the guys that run it an email to check how to book.

I've not had a response to my email so just phoned the contact number on the UKBP website - 07719 335 076 - to try to book my place but got an answer phone - I'll keep you posted as and when I hear back from the guys that run the park.

It's not free, prices haven't been announced yet: "We haven't worked out any prices for the uplift in detail yet but I won't be any more than it used to be (£25 a day) and could be a little less on a weekday."

Stefan - sorry, didn't see the last bit of your post - as Trax says - uplift costs - my guess it'll be around £25 mark - but it's then "free" to ride the park!

Trax - thnx for the tip but just after I saw this I got a reply from Paul Howell at UKBP. He says website will be updated shortly with the uplift booking added.

I'll keep a close eye on it and let everyone know when it's there

Yeah, saw that - they're leaving it a little bit late for planned trip on 30th but looks like building work is kicking off today so fingers crossed they'll be in good shape by then.

Still no ability to book uplift on line yet - I'll check in with the guys that run it again this week and let everyone know.

Just received the following email:

Hi Adam

Sorry to keep delaying details of the uplifts this year but everything is still very much under construction at the Bikepark at the moment. Due to all sorts of delays (manly the FC plus now the tree felling contractors) we not quite sure when the uplift be running - we're aiming to get the park open for 23rd April for riding but the availability of the uplift will depend if we can get the new track in before we open.

Please keep emailing me fore updates or check out the website for further updates - again sorry for the delays but it will be worth in the end!

Fingers crossed for the 30th - I'll keep a watchful eye and let everyone know.

Ah - good they are being proactive about letting people know whats going on - that place will be stella when all that work is done.
