To be honest i dont get why anyone would think a full face helmet with such a big opening was going to offer any real protection just look at how much the face is exposed in the photo below. For a helmet thats modeled on the down-o-matic its massively different in the face area (see the other photo below.) I use a down-o-matic and hope one bad helmet wont tarnish the brand as all their others are brilliant. I personally wouldnt run anything else apart from a d3 but dont have 400 quid to drop on one.
