Not bad. I like Pedros tools but they're pricey. Plus this could get covered in crap and adds weight. Can you close the QR and then remove the tool? That would be an added benefit for security.

That looks good if you needed a tool for a commuter bike

Basically but with the bash on both sides in a neat package and available in a range of tooth sizes and also to fit all cranksets.

Got a bit confused when i saw on for a triple up front ? didnt make any sense

I can't see that there is an advantage to that setup unless you intend to only ride smooth paths, as soon as it gets bumpy the chain will come off
a single ring and a light weight guide would be better

It is a single ring and guide ? 2 guides in fact, inner and outer

But neither of these add tension or stop it derailling upward only sideways which is minimal anyway.

maybe...but im not sure it would be as useless as you make out. Im guessing the thinking behind this is that - the up and down movement puts the chain in position where it can be flicked off the inside or outside. The chain still gets into that position but doesn't derail due to the outer and inner ring stopping it. In the past...

when I ran no bash the chain would derail on the inside and outside
when I ran a outside bash it would never derail to the outside
thus I have to think that
running a inside and outside bash would stop it derailing all together?

You would of course still get a lot of chainslap

This plus a clutch der might be a good solution for those without ISIG tabs as ive always had bad luck with bb mounted BB mounted chain systems.
