I've got a forum suggestion, its right off the top of my head so will need some working out but how about this.....

Find a few XC routes GPS them and share the files, then when ever anyone rides them post their times up and get a sort of leader board going ?

could also have a specific run at Danbury, porc, chicksands and get some sort of strava type league table thing going

might be bonkers, one XC route should be appalling to really mix it up a bit and one DH type run should be pretty full on so potentially everyone is out of their comfort zones at some point ?

...i'll get me coat.

It doesn't matter what you ride

You could always set up officially named segments on strava jon then we can search them and run them like that ?

Would probably need to be dotted about a bit so perhaps one at Epping, one at Thorndon, one at Danbury etc places where people would make the effort to get too specifically for this (group ride anyone ?) but also so people also have local(ish) ones they can get to and perhaps show others the route too ?
