It is officially closed I believe. I know a few guys who have still been riding up there though. Last saturday/sunday there were quite a few people up there.

unsure whether I'm gonna get out anywhere yet, just hope the weather clears up slightly.

You can park just outside down the road, it's what i'm planning on doing if i do end up going there.

I reckon they will open it tomorrow anyway, they lose money if it's shut i guess.

Not sure its worth the 2 hour drive for me if its still snowy there, its all melted round my way but i am right next to the coast.
Annoying but think i might give danbury a shot tomorrow instead.

I don't see whats wrong with us going to help dig out the snow/ice off the trials if that is what everyone is bothered about.

We all ride these places but expect someone else to get them ready for us while we sit around and complain about the conditions!

I'm always happy to help out for the greater good but I tend to agree with the above in this case. You wouldn't go to McDonalds and pay to cook your own burger! If they want to offer a FoC dig/ride day then I think a lot of people would be there.

I realise they charge us to ride they, but as far as I know theres only about 5 or so people that build or maintain it, few weeks ago CS said they had over 100 people there in a day. 5 people digging and 100 people moaning, if we helped we could ride sooner!!

Weather it actually needs it tomorrow, I'll chuck some shovels in the van just incase we need them
