Not been here long, but slowly getting my Chucker fitted to more off-road standards. Got a new stubby stem on the way, discs, pads and cables have all been replaced, better/lighter seat already bolted on! New tyres are already here, Rubber Queen 2.4's. Just gotta grab some bigger tubes and they'll be straight on.

So, yeah. Lots of lovely goodies incoming, which brings me to my question...

Anyone else got anything fun on its way?

Glad I was sent my Recon lid back on Friday.. It's been further reduced to £35 today!! Cheap as Chips!!

Although the LS top and shorts have also been further reduced which is sickening.

I've nearly completed my transformation into D3O-Boy :)

Already got 661 D30 Knee pads, and ordered Race face D30 elbows from CRC, got D30 scott gloves from..eer..link that Jon put up in another thread..only £9 and just ordered slab of the stuff £20 from http://armadilloscooterwear.com/collect ... -protector the idea being for it to go in my bladder compartment in my back pack.

Which 661 D30 did you get? The Evo? If so, how do you find them?

Yep..the 2013 Evo, which are a bit different to the old ones...I note there are 661 D3O elbows but these are the old range and they dont appear to have made new ones.

They are on CRC, alas..about the only things not in a sale ! > http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... tedKingdom

They are... In S, L & XL @ £43.99 in the private sale that ends tomorrow.

I was tempted but everywhere I read, people are saying their Kyle Straits are better, stay up better, don't wear as easily on the sides, etc...

Also grabbed myself some Fox 'Platinum Anti-scene' black gloves for £12 on ebay (http://goo.gl/9vHbR ) on saturday. Wore 'em today for a blitz around behind Morrisons on Canvey. Pretty nice gloves, much better then I expected for the price tag! Nice and flexible, good grip, decently comfy padding... Pretty good buy overall!

Double wahoo ! Havnt tried Kyle Straights, but the Evo's are best Ive had, might as well make use of new technologies as opposed to big lumps of plastic, they are very thin and comfy even when wearing 'em under bulky MX bottoms on hot days in France.... there are plenty of amusing Youtube vids of people getting whacked with shovel,s etc whilst wearing em..including a beanie test here > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VDeJ7rLUYU

Didnt have any problem with em coming down, they are tight fitting and have strap at the top....but you do see a lot of people with the old solid plastic style ones where they slip down and leave a knee exposed..ready to be injured.
