I dont know if anyone listens to these things at all but it seems worth sharing

Ebay should list frame numbers on listings...

Signed, why not, might help a bit. Last bike I had stolen was a £6200 Foes, never found. I'm not sure how many stolen bikes would end up on ebay though. Seems stupid even for a bike thief.

Hi,
Sorry to hear your loss.
It is not the value in money although it hurts.
It is the fact that they were good bikes and I must admit the xc spec was a great ride. Stopped making them so got a Camber. Still look on Ebay and dribble when I see a xc up for sale.(I lock my bikes up with two chains and a dog when I go out now.

Hi again,
Maybe the thief will not , but the purchaser on selling might.
So maybe even a year later you may get a glimse again of a lost treasure.Receipt of purchase you maybe able to make a claim for the bike.

Hi,
My bikes were marked by police and registraed . but police said no chane check Brick Lane and nothing else happens.
Just put down to bad experience and vowed not to happen to me again.........
I was only 20 feet from it but I did not realise how fast my bike was ........ Disappeared round the corner.
The other one was in somebody elses hands when it was cut from a bike rack at shenfield stn.

Makes you nervous when youngsters show interest in your bike wiether they are or eyeing you up for a nicking job.

On another subject -over taking a bus in the bus lane and the driver pulls out and I had to shut through his window for him to see me.
Should have seen his face -shock not in it....
Still I got my own back I slowed him right down by riding in front of him.
Justifys having cameras on your helmet.
