A dropper post is something that you realise how good it's after you used it for a bit . When I got my bike it came with one fitted I don't know if I'd buy it otherwise, but now I can't live without it.

I use mine all the time, its one of those things that's far from essential, but when its there and you can use it at will its worth it weight in gold, it helps me transform my hard tail from riding (poorly) around locally to thoroughly enjoying the most from my bike at places like Danbury, at the flick of a switch ! Its also useful when you just stop, believe it or not, it makes the bike much more comfortable to just sit on whilst you're not riding anywhere !!!

It doesn't matter what you ride

It's an essential piece of kit in my opinion, I have a reverb on.one and a Joplin 4 on the other. Also I wouldn't go back to not having a remote

I've nearly completed my transformation into D3O-Boy :)

Already got 661 D30 Knee pads, and ordered Race face D30 elbows from CRC, got D30 scott gloves from..eer..link that Jon put up in another thread..only £9 and just ordered slab of the stuff £20 from http://armadilloscooterwear.com/collect ... -protector the idea being for it to go in my bladder compartment in my back pack.

Andy

So an update, on the D30 back protector had an email from Armadillo Scooters wanted another £25 for postage so that was a no, bought the D30 back from Moto Central > http://www.motocentral.co.uk/D3O-back-p ... AZKTI.aspx.

A bit of trimming of the 'wings' and in it goes into my backpack bladder compartment, still room for the drinks bladder.

All I need now is a horrible crash and land on my back to test it :(

Got a chain guide from a friend, installed and found the bloody head of the bolt rubbing on the chain ring because it's too tall, tried to get a flat head bolt today in B&Q, in a builders and a bike shop and nowhere I could get them! How annoying! Now putting everything back without installing the chain guide, will order in the internet, and mid next week repeat all the process!!! Urgghhhhhhh!!!!!
