Have any of you ridden at Hamsterley forest, trail or DH?

Ive just returned from a weekend up there on the trail bike and took in the best biits of the red and the black routes, nothing there that really stands out from any other good trail center but the DH looks awesome, ive never seen so many high end bikes and body armour in one place, I didnt even get chance to have a sneaky go on the top section as I was on a group ride with the Army Cycling Union (ACU) and were not insured for such things, on the plus side i got to ride some good trails and recce the area for future visits. oh yeah i also got paid to do it :D

Yeah, I've ridden there quite a few times and love it!

The top bit of the DH is fun to session, the lower half gets pretty technical. Personally my favourite bits are the red trail/DH bit and the massive sweeping 4X. You get awesome views, and can chose to either really push it, or just cruise down and have a blast. If anyone's in the area, I'd thoroughly recommend it.
