Oh and I would say my grade colour is purple I.e between blue and red, but more red I guess. (though frequently trending towards brown in the trouser area!)

Bring which ever you feel comfortable doing big stuff in.

I rode all day in my full face last time.
Bearing in mind you'll be learning to do bigger drops and jumps you are more likely to come off
