Tell him to keep searching, my mate who had several bikes stolen last year found his on various sites for sale and the police got the bastards

Just to be curious, did your mate had his bike locked to something.

I am paranoid about my bike and trying to step up the security to my shed.

JC if you have a concrete shed base bolt down a security anchor to bolt your bike too.
Only stops chancers though my mate had his motor X bike stolen from a Fort Knox set up where the bike had to be carried at head height to get it out !!!
