Thanks surf i might try this later on Sunday looks like a straight mud plug.ill stick to what I know but will try things over the season.
In the rain I'm helly Hanson base layer and waterproof with the vents fully open. I'm running flats at the mo as I was struggling with confidence last year. I'm treating the first four as practice to get back in the swing I've had 5 yrs away from racing baring last years attempt.
My only target is not to be last and build up all season before I win at Hadleigh ? 29th of Sep

51st of 71 with my fitness and a mechanical I'm happyish only just missed lap 3

Eccles course was good except for a mile on the back half that was a sloppy wet granny climb a lot of peeps walking but like to be a purest

And I've got 456 as my number for the season

The course held up really well a steep gully/drop had quick sand half way down which was a bit dodge needed scooping out really
