Have any of you guys ridden cardingham? Im popping down to cornwall this weekend to
see a mate and he told me to bring my bike as he lives just 5 miles from cardingham, he says its fantastic so im really looking forward to it., reckon I may be a little bit out of my depth. I'll report back on Monday.

Thanks for the link. It looks great with some testing climbs and tight bends. Now which pedals do I take, spds or flats.

I would go flats unless your confident.
I used to use spuds everywhere and have done plenty of trail centres on them so why not

I turned the sound off , it was giving me the hump.

Cardingham was well worth the trip. The trails are cut into the sides of a steep hill which makes some of the turns a bit tight which disrupts your flow. The blue trail is just over 5 miles long and another mile if you want to try the red section aka hells teeth. The burms on the red section are incredibly tight and steep and with quite a sizable drop if you over shoot. The trails are new , just a couple of weeks old for the red section, so they will only get better and new trails still being developed. £3 for all day parking , picnic tables with bbqs , cafe and childrens playground. Its a long way to go for a weekend but was worth it and the youtube videos dont do it justice. Oh, im glad I took my spds as the climbs were pretty hard going

Going to Fowey in a couple of weeks and think Cardingham is about 15 mile or so away, will go there!

Olive, you'll love it. Despite all the rain they have had down there its not muddy. Hope you enjoy it as much ad I did.

Went to Cardingham today, really good fun, not particulary technical (done the blue and the red runs) or long (need to do it twice) but flows well with some really tight berms. Despite all the rubbish weather bone dry! Back tomorrow.

Glad you enjoyed it, I agree that its not to technical but you can get a lot off speed up and keep it going until you get to a berm, did you find them to tight?

There were a couple v.tight and came off on one, my boy stacked it too!
