Looks like it's going to be a while before the sun puts it's hat on.

Got a Sight Killer-B 2, my first new bike in about 12 years.
Just getting back into MTBing again.

The sight 3 is a real good ride, spent a few months reading review after review.
Waited for the Killer to come out , test rode the Killer-B 3.
And the 2 before plumping for the 2. Better mech + dropper post.

Hoping that some dry weather will allow Thorndon to dry out a bit.

Unexpectedly - Epping is running ok.. if you hit the right trails. The main trails are pretty boggy still. But managed to stitch together a good route today.

Epping was even better today... fast enough and some nice loamy corners. Good fun!

Give me a shout, if you fancy getting out for an early morning ride tomorrow

Danbury was much muddier than normal today.
The repaired sections are excellent though and running better than before .

Epping Monday morning was really quite good in the North, Still a bit of mud, but mostly pretty dry actually !!! ... and apparently Spring will have arrived by this weekend ... Yay!!

Shenfield common was ok on Friday 29th. Quick blast through there was good. The start of hartswood, the King George playing field was ok, but as you got deeper into towards the entrance for Thorndon, there were some very boggy sections and were pretty unridable. Thorndon was dryish is areas, but still some very wet areas, but running fairly quick. The biggest problem was dog walkers. Why do they feel the need to walk across the width of the cycle and horse tracks when the have there own paths to follow and worst still, they get the hump with us cyclists for using our own paths. If you are going to walk a dog on a cycle path, then surely keep it on a lead, otherwise I can foresee a nasty accident involving wheels and a small dog...and breathe.....

Just read in the paper that although Spring ight arrive by the weekend - it's only going to be nice for a couple of weeks, then "Summer" is likely to be cool and wet ... (again), so make the most of it while you can!

Snow FFS not a happy camper it's April is it not Sun and showers this month ?

Danbury last night was 70/30 good on the xc trails

Thanks VW hoping to ride Danbury xc at the weekend at some point.
With my little lady born by C section last Thursday it might be a quick blast though

Sounds good I've had a few years off and with the little one looking at May to put the hammer down whilst missies is on maternity leave I will commute 4 days a week /80 miles. I work until 10.30pm Wednesday so good rest day

I'm in Woodham so Danbury is a stones throw
