I'm in Woodham so Danbury is a stones throw
I'm in Sandon now so the opposite side but i recon we could make a good loop around the common to recreate a MSG course. Evening rides any good to you once the kids are in bed?

Thorndon - Was lovely wednesday night but with the little bit of snow thursday night it had a lovely slippy inch to clog up the tyres before hitting the hard stuff underneath.

Danbury today - conditions are good, a few odd puddles, the most mud is on the walk up. looks like a lot of digging has gone on as well

Just been for a spin around Hadleigh Castle/Benfleet/Leigh area, stuck to the firetrack bit mostly, but was generally dry although some spots (lower near the railway line) still bit swampy.

Dry trails nice! been out to Swinley twice in the last two weeks - great trails out there and really nice not to have to spend an hour cleaning the bike after riding for a change...

Chicksands was bone dry Saturday 6th April, too dry I think but yes it's nice not to have to clean your bike.

Any updates on Epping, I've noticed the more open parts have dried out but I haven't ventured in, was planning to have a scout around on Friday along the fireroads and check all the single tracks.

South epping is drying. Some bits of gloop, main trails are starting to get a dry line through them, ok off the main trails. But all are suffering from water in the pits, troughs and at the bottom of descents, the two biggest drops around are now both into a couple of feet of stagnant water. Jump spot soaked. Some flow on trails but it ineviatbly ends in a wet patch of gloop or a new water feature. Couple of trails still underwater with no way around. Best its been for ages though.

Danbury tonight was cool as, rode till 8:00 no lights required, runs are fast, dust free and grippy and the work thats been done is good, the 'new' revived old line across the middle is a lot of fun !!!

It doesn't matter what you ride
