I find it best to make a deal of the small stuff e.g today I can't believe inner tubes are that much then sneak in the big stuff. I also make my missies ask me to get stuff like complaining about my dodgy knee and suggesting knee pads

Thanks for the advice, looks to be the newer design freehub which is stronger, did it anyway and had a bonus of making it a lot quieter too!
