For some reason my RQ tires developed tiny little cracks on the sidewalls which seems to be letting air out as I can see the sealant working to seal the cracks.

The tires are just over a year old and the bike is being kept in a shed all the time and hasn't been exposed to the elements for long periods of time apart of when I'm out riding.

Anyone seen this before? I got much older Schwalbe and Hutchinson tires and they are perfectly fine.

Yep my niks do that nothing to worry about. Topup with sealant when getting low.

Take wheel off let it run to bottom of wheel, give it a shack can't hear sealant then add more ;-)

Same.. I use RQ ust tyres and not yet noticed sealant coming through yet but defo little cracks in the non chequered bit, similar to tyres go when they have perished or left lying around flat.. Mine are a bit older than a year old, my ust x kings seem to be a thicker different rubber. I'll be keeping an eye on mine as its not right, sealant should'nt come through on a proper tubeless tyre unless its had a puncture..

Its not physical damage from rocks as the cracks are literally everywhere but the thread which means the rubber layers they used for the sides are different and not very good.

I think its either bad batch, just rubbish tires or blame the sealant not too sure.

Raised it with continental despite being out of warranty will be interesting to see what they say but I won't hold my breath on that though.
